Ann Coulter is threatened with sticks and rocks.

Then someone pulled the fire alarm prior to her speech so it would be canceled. But don't get them wrong, they believe in free speech and have super liberal/progressive wacko's speak at the school. But their free speech only stretches to people with the same views as them. I love the tolerance that the liberal/progressive left have. Don't forget about the "tea-party" participant who was escorted by police out of the building when he said "kill the bill" meaning the healthcare bill. The media reported that as angry tea-party goers threatening violence. Very strange people on the left.

I spoke to a communist at my work this week who told me he had strong morals. He also told me he believes his wife should belong to the people and be used as a prostitute. His unborn child should be given to the state. He doesn't believe in the 2nd amendment. He won't kill someone to protect himself or his family, because he doesn't want to kill someone, but loves the idea of abortion. Killing an innocent child is better than protecting yourself or your family from a murderer? What?

There is something wrong in the minds of our people. It is a virus that wipes out all the desire of freedom and replaces it with a desire to take from others.

I kept telling this guy at work, he must not know what he is saying. I spoke about the founders plan for the constitution. The honor of George Washington. These actually made him angry. He told me all politicians are about power. I brought up George Washington first and he told me that it is impossible to know if he was any good, because I had to read about it in a book. He told me the constitution was too old to apply to us. He told me there is nothing I can do to stop crooked politicians. I have to accept that it is just the way it is. My vote and my opinion don't matter because I am an individual. Making change is impossible because the government rules over me no matter what. I can only be a part of the masses.

I disagree. I believe this whole country is made up of individuals. Individuals with individual ideas shape who leads us. Individuals with individual rights that were given to us by God. There are countries dotting this planet that believe the way my coworker does. There is only one country that houses the purest values of the individual. Why do these groups want to take it away. If they believe we should be another country, why do they just not go to the other countries.

Because this country is the best. It was built on the backs of the best people. No other country has the benefit of the American spirit. No other country can replicate the values of the American constitution. They can over time destroy us in the back rooms of the once sacred halls.

We must educate with truth and right, with liberty and freedom for all being the objective. Thomas Paine, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington must be who we try to be. Educate the people in the ways of truth and justice. We don't govern people to think they are entitled to someone else's hard work. James Madison said this about voting ourselves benefits from the coffers of the federal government.

"If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare,
and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare,
they may take the care of religion into their own hands;
they may appoint teachers in every State, county and parish
and pay them out of their public treasury;
they may take into their own hands the education of children,
establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union;
they may assume the provision of the poor;
they may undertake the regulation of all roads other than post-roads;
in short, every thing, from the highest object of state legislation
down to the most minute object of police,
would be thrown under the power of Congress.... Were the power
of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for,
it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature
of the limited Government established by the people of America." Link
